Job summary

Qualifications

We are a leading construction company in Akron seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team As a Facade Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and overseeing the installation of building facades This position requires strong technical knowledge attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with architects contractors and other team members

Responsibilities

• Design and develop building facades according to project plans and specifications
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety and stability of facades
• Select appropriate materials for facades based on aesthetic functional and budgetary considerations
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation of facades
• Oversee the fabrication process to ensure quality control and adherence to design standards
• Collaborate with architects contractors and other team members to resolve any design issues or conflicts
• Conduct site visits during installation phase to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design plans
• Provide technical support during construction phase as needed

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
