Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Fabricator for on-site work in Oklahoma City. You will examine drawings and orders to determine materials, fabricate pieces, retrieve materials, and inspect final products to meet specifications.

Role requires familiarity with blueprints, work orders, and basic fabrication tools; Spanish proficiency is a plus. This is a field operations position with on-site work at a major construction distributor.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, work orders or drawings.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Examines specifications from drawings/work orders to determine finished item characteristics and machine setup.
• Fabricates work pieces according to work order specifications.
• Retrieves materials and performs fabrication duties.
• Visually or instrumentally inspects pieces to ensure standards.
• Packages items for shipping and installs protective devices for transport.
• Follows safety policies and performs other assigned duties.
