Job summary

DBS Manufacturing, an industrial gearbox manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Technician to join our team. You will construct products from raw materials, verify parts meet specs, and follow schematics while maintaining safety and production schedules.

You will use hand tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery, read blueprints, and perform quality checks on finished products. Candidates must lift up to 50 lbs and provide their own hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
• Experience as a Fabricator or in a similar role.

In this role, you will construct products from raw materials, ensuring all pieces meet factory specifications and safety standards. You must be able to read and follow schematics and adhere to a strict production schedule while always prioritizing safety.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fabricator or in a similar position
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead crane
• Highly detail-oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints
• Familiar with common fabrication equipment: Hand tools, welding machine, band saw, iron worker (shear/punch), squares, tape measure
• Basic computer skills
• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and be capable of reading and writing in English
• Candidates are required to provide their own hand tools
• Capable of lifting objects up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience.
