Position

Swenson Spreader, LLC is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of machine shop and fabrication operations to support production, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Determine order to be processed
• Identify components to be processed
• Perform necessary set up on desired work center using blueprint
• Start up/operate and control desired machine or a combination thereof (saw, drill, lathe, metal muncher, etc.)
• Inspect/evaluate quality of part produced for conformance using blueprint and measuring tools
• Accurately report labor and production
• Use and understanding of manufacturing orders
• Safety and Housekeeping
• Embrace lean philosophy
• Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor

• Able to stop/start machine
• Ability to identify steel size and type
