Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Rebar Fabrication Associate for a Windsor, CA fabrication yard. This full-time role supports cutting, bending, tying, and loading rebar for construction projects and customer orders.

Candidates should be comfortable outdoors, able to read shop drawings and fabrication tickets, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is available training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.
• Experience with metal fabrication machinery preferred.
• Ability to read shop drawings, fabrication tickets, and production sheets.
• Able to lift, push, and pull heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual equipment to shear, cut, and bend rebar to specifications.
• Read and interpret fabrication tickets, shop drawings, and production sheets.
• Identify correct rebar shapes, sizes, and quantities for each order.
• Tie rebar together for cages, caissons, mats, and other assemblies.
• Use forklifts to unload inbound freight and load finished products for shipment.
• Assist with customer will-call orders and job site deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Position Overview

A locally owned concrete reinforcing steel contractor in Windsor is seeking full-time Rebar Fabrication Associates to join their fabrication yard. This role supports the fabrication and preparation of rebar used for construction projects, including cutting, bending, tying, and loading materials for job sites and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual equipment to shear, cut, and bend rebar to specifications
• Read and interpret fabrication tickets, shop drawings, and production sheets
• Identify correct rebar shapes, sizes, and quantities for each order
• Tie rebar together for cages, caissons, mats, and other assemblies
• Use forklifts to unload inbound freight and load finished products for shipment
• Assist with customer will-call orders and job site deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine machine maintenance and follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

• Experience with metal fabrication machinery preferred
• Ability toread tape measuresand perform basic math
• Ability tounderstand shop drawings, fabrication tickets, and production sheets
• Able to lift, push, and pull heavy materialsthroughout the shift; Up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable daily transportation required
• Comfortable working outdoorsin various weather conditions, including heat and cold
• Willing and able to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
