Job summary

Distribution International is hiring a Fabricator to operate sewing machines and hand tools to custom fabricate reusable insulation blankets. You will measure materials, maintain quality, and meet daily production targets in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass respirator certification if needed. This is a safety-sensitive position with benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience and/or training in a sewing/binding environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate sewing machines, staplers and other hand tools to fabric removable, reusable blanket insulation.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are met daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
