Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a FABRICATOR to perform secondary operations in a production environment. You will complete tasks like tapping, gluing, trimming, and assembling components to finish production orders, while ensuring quality and adherence to schedules.
The role emphasizes reading work instructions, following safety guidelines, and collaborating with team members to maintain efficient production flow.

The primary responsibility of the FABRICATOR is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions. Write Legibly.
Basic mathematical skills and counting ability required.
Able to remember part numbers and the assembly they belong to. Able to record daily production information. Must be mentally alert, safety conscious, communicate well, and receive and follow instructions. Able to work well with others, able to function in a limited work area, able to change work assignments with little notice, must perform duties in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

Able to use both arms and hands, able to stand for long periods while working. Able to use hand tools – cutters, knives, screwdrivers and tape applicators. Automatic machinery – tappers, sanders, mill, lathe and cut off saw (machines require only that the work piece be placed in the proper spot, in the correct manner and removed after the machine has performed the needed operation).
