Job summary

Generac is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to support our Energy systems sales, service, rental, and construction teams. You will perform heavy and light welding, fabricate sheet metal, and modify fuel tanks and enclosures for generators.

You will install vent extensions, spill boxes, DPF and load bank systems, and collaborate with project management to develop modification estimates. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel occasionally are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years welding or fabrication experience in field or shop.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and fuel tank/enclosure modifications.
• Must have valid driver's license.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Able to do heavy and light welding
• Able to do sheet metal fabrication
• Knowledge of fuel tank and enclosure modifications and part manufacturing
• Ability to do light design
• Proficient in Mig, Tig or Stick
• Must have valid driver license
• Must be able to travel occasionally

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Experience:
