Motion Industries is seeking a Fabricator who will make, repair, adapt, and rectify dies and other mechanical equipment with high precision according to blueprints and specifications. The role involves setting up fabricating machines, welding components, and verifying accuracy using gauges and rulers.
Under direct supervision, the fabricator reads layouts, tests operations, and ensures conformance to engineering changes while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work area.
Under direct supervision, the Fabricator makes, repairs, adapts, and rectifies tools, dies and other pieces of mechanical equipment with high precision specifications and tolerances by interpreting blueprints, consulting specifications and making operative tests. The Fabricator operates all kinds of mechanical tools under the guidance of a supervisor. The Fabricator fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repairs dies, cutting tools, jigs and related items. The Fabricator modifies dies to conform to engineering changes.
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.
Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination. Ability to handle material up to 100 pounds.

Pay: $19.80 - $23.75/hourly
