Job summary

Viking is seeking motivated individuals for 1st and 2nd shift in a fast-paced fabrication shop. The Fabrication Production Associate will support fabrication activities including machine operation, pipe preparation, material movement, welding support, and quality inspection.

Training is provided for fabrication equipment and safety procedures. Responsibilities include operating plasma cutting, cold saws, threading, grooving, grinders, and other fabrication equipment; reading work orders and

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or general labor is preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, measurements, and specs for quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication and production equipment (plasma cutting, cold saws, threading, grooving, grinders).
• Support fabrication, welding, machine operation, robotics, and material handling across the shop.
• Cut, groove, thread, grind, and prepare steel pipe/materials to specs.
• Read and interpret orders and ensure production accuracy and quality.
• Visually inspect materials and welds for defects and compliance.
• Move and stage steel pipe, fittings, and materials throughout production.
• Load/unload, organize, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe fabrication environment and follow SOPs.
