Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Brier Hill, PA is seeking a Fabrication 1 to perform cleaning, grinding, cutting and welding on aftermarket equipment, and to fabricate parts from engineered specs or customer direction.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, a welding diploma or certification, and a safety-focused approach. You will work in a team, may progress to advanced levels, and shifts/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience with industry-specific equipment.
• Technical diploma or certification in welding.

Responsibilities

• Clean, grind, cut, and weld components.
• Repair components from aftermarket equipment.
• Fabricate new parts from engineered specifications or customer direction.
• Progress from basic to advanced levels with minimal supervision.
• Work overtime/weekends as required.
• Uphold safety and 5S housekeeping requirements.
• Work in a team setting and communicate ideas effectively.
• Shift work is required.
