Job summary

Acme Construction Supply Co. in Glendale, AZ seeks a Fabrication Technician / Driver to convert sales orders into finished products using saws, bending, and assembly. You will follow drawings, meet schedules, and help with deliveries as needed.

You’ll set up machines, cut to spec, perform quality checks, and handle inventory moves between warehouse and trucks while maintaining safety and DOT compliance. A valid driving record and ability to obtain a DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle manual material movement.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and interprets work instructions via fabrication drawings.
• Operates machines and sets up for saw cutting, threading, bending, shearing and punching.
• Communicates with customers regarding project requirements and scheduling.
• Pre-plans deliveries and routes to ensure efficiency and timing deadlines.
• Delivers products/orders to job sites on multi-stop routes and unloads.
