Job summary

Schneider Electric in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking skilled fabricators for the 3rd shift to prepare, cut, punch, and weld metal for our production line. You will read blueprints, perform pem, tap, and radius operations, identify parts, and run turret, brake presses, and Amada/Cincinnati equipment according to specs.

The role requires at least 1 year of fabrication experience, basic shop math, and a team-oriented focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Preferably one year of fabrication experience.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Familiar with World Class manufacturing principles.
  • Strong teamwork with emphasis on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
  • Perform pem, tap, and radius operations.
  • Identify and verify parts.
  • Run turret or brake press per specs.
  • Operate LVD and Cincinnati brakes as required.
  • Set up Amada turrets per specs.
  • Offer product improvement suggestions.
  • Take on additional tasks as directed by supervisor.

Job description

Calling all skilled fabricators! Schneider Electric is on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic Fabrication team on 3rd Shift at our plant in Mount Juliet, TN. . As part of the team, you'll be responsible for preparing, cutting, punching, and welding metal for our cutting-edge product line.

What will you do?

  • Reading blueprints and manufacturing instructions
  • Performing pem, tap, and radius operations
  • Identifying and verifying parts
  • Running turret or brake press according to set specifications
  • Operating LVD and/or Cincinnati brakes at required rates
  • Setting up and running Amada turrets at required rates
  • Offering valuable product improvement suggestions
  • Taking on additional tasks as directed by the supervisor

Physical demands:

  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor
  • Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift
  • Requires the ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work.
  • Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $23.25 - $35.85 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
