Conair, part of the PiovanGroup, is seeking a Metal Fabrication Technician in Franklin, PA. The role requires reading engineering drawings and blueprints, cutting and shaping metal, and operating both manual and automated fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality, maintaining safety, and collaborating with peers to complete production orders in SAP and related processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine final part requirements.
• Proficiency in selecting appropriate metal materials and equipment based on project specifications.
• Experience with cutting, shaping, and forming metal using various tools and machines.
• Operate manual and automated fabrication machinery.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure finished parts meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine final part requirements.
• Select appropriate metal materials and equipment based on project specifications.
• Cut, shape, and form metal using press brakes, rolls, shears, saws, punches, and drills.
• Operate manual and automated fabrication machinery.
• Conduct simple quality checks to ensure parts meet standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure workflow and project completion.
