Job summary

SaniSure, a fast-growing manufacturer of single-use products for biologics, seeks a Fabrication Tech in Camarillo, CA. You will fabricate and assemble plastic bottles, carboys, tanks, and tubing, and perform welding, bonding, and cutting to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include reading measurements, setting up equipment, recording lot numbers, and ensuring product quality while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 4+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Technical schooling or certification in machining or welding is a plus.
• Read and interpret measurements and blueprints; follow work orders precisely.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble plastic bottles, carboys, tanks, tubing and related components.
• Operate fabrication equipment including welders, mills, drill presses, saws, benders, and lathes.
• Read calipers, tape measures, and rulers to ensure specifications.
• Record lot numbers and test finished products as required.

Job Summary

Fabricate and assemble a variety of plastic bottles, carboys, tanks, tubing, and related components into finished products. Perform welding, bonding, bending, and cutting in accordance with customer specifications and company standards.

Essential Functions

• Follow the developed layouts and plans for the sequence of fabrication tasks.
• Read and interpret measurements using calipers, tape measures, and rulers.
• Position parts in jigs, fixtures, or clamps along layout marks on the worktable.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32”
• Select, mark, cut, or bend materials as specified by work orders.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including hot air welders (similar to soldering), mills, drill presses, saws, flange forming machines, tubing benders, ultraviolet curing machines, and lathes.
• Assemble, construct, bond, and/or weld components in accordance with work order specifications.
• Record lot numbers for all products and materials used.
• Monitor work to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with quality standards including that workpieces conform to specified requirements.
• Clean finished products using designated chemicals or cleaning agents; use non-linting wipes as directed.
• Test completed products using electrical leak testers, pressure and vacuum methods, or other procedures as required by material or product type, document test results accordingly.
• Balance individual responsibilities while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets.
• Observe safety procedures and use equipment and materials appropriately.
• Support company goals and values, adhere to policies and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
• Performs additional job duties as assigned.

Education / Certifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 4+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical schooling or certification in machining or welding, a plus.

Required Experience & Competencies

• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprints, BoM’s and quality documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work with precision tools and follow detailed work instructions.
• Solid math skills including percentages, area, volume, and basic geometry.
• Experience using fabrication equipment such as Plastic welders (similar to soldering), mills, drill presses, Hand Drills, benders, saws, and lathes.
