Job summary

Haskell is seeking support in fitting and welding tasks to assist in the fabrication of steel structures. You will help position, align, and prepare components for joining, while following safety protocols and directions from journeypersons.

The role requires ability to stand for extended periods, lift 10–50 pounds, and operate basic shop tools. High school diploma preferred; travel may be required; this is a full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Operate punches, grinders, drills, saws, oxy-fuel torches, and other basic equipment and hand tools
• Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
• May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation
• May perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of journeyman's tools and equipment
• Perform other routine duties as directed by experienced craft person
• Manually move, lift, and transfer material and safely operate overhead cranes
• Travel as required
• Other duties which may be assigned as needed
