Job summary

TAIT, a leader in live events, seeks a hardworking team member to support production and set-building operations. You will assist with material finishing, component assembly, painting, and workspace maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role is hands-on, spanning carpentry, grinding, painting, and equipment prep. You’ll work as part of a team that values reliability, clear communication, and flexible scheduling, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Able to operate hand and power tools and measuring instruments.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Flexible schedule with some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to work in multiple areas from carpentry to grinding and polishing.
• Assist with finishing materials such as cleaning and grinding metal materials.
• Assist with assembling and building components used for various sets.
• Safely handle miscellaneous materials.
• Support a team focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Assist in cleaning equipment and work areas.
• Prep and paint equipment as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

Support production and set-building operations by assisting with material finishing, component assembly, equipment preparation, painting, and workspace maintenance while upholding safety, quality, housekeeping, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to work in multiple areas of concentration ranging from carpentry to hand grinding and polishing
• Assist with finishing materials such as cleaning and grinding metal materials
• Assist with assembling and building components used for various sets
• Safely handle miscellaneous materials
• Play a support role on a team dedicated to maintain high standards of safety, quality, housekeeping and productivity
• Assist in cleaning equipment and work areas
• Prep and paint equipment as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Basic knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Able to operate hand and power tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to safely stand or sit for 95% of working shift
• Capable of lifting and shifting up to 70lbs
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Effectively follow verbal and written instructions
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays as required
