H 2 O Innovation in Ramsey, MN is seeking a mechanically inclined Fabrication Specialist to join a permanent, full-time role at our Ramsey plant. You will perform a wide range of assembly tasks and learn maintenance technician and millwright skills.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of related experience, can read technical plans, and can manage multiple projects autonomously while staying organized and detail-oriented. Lifting up to 50 lbs and safe work practices are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related work experience.
• Ability to read technical plans.
• Personal tools is a plus, but not a must.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be autonomous.
• Be organized, rigorous and meticulous.
• Must be able lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
• Have a positive and professional attitude towards your team and internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically assemble pipes, equipment, instruments, and valves to frame structures with fasteners ranging from 10-32 to 1” diameter bolts and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Glue PVC pipe assemblies ranging from ½” to 12” pipe diameter.
• Measure, cut, drill, and tap steel frames and PVC pipes.
• Cut & thread stainless steel pipe.
• Respect the project timeline.
• Ensure a good quality product by using your attention to detail.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Respect and follow safety regulations.
