Job summary

Worldwide Power Products, LLC seeks a Fabricator's Shop Hand Helper to support fabricators and welders in a busy workshop. You will assist with cutting, grinding, assembling, and material handling while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include learning welding techniques (MIG/TIG/arc), reading technical drawings, and maintaining tools and inventory. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a basic tool knowledge, with a readiness to learn in a team-driven

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in metal fabrication.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist fabricators with measuring, cutting, and shaping metal components using saws, grinders, and shears.
• Support welding activities by preparing surfaces and positioning/workpieces.
• Maintain shop equipment through cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Organize and manage inventory of metal materials for ongoing projects.
• Interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Learn and apply MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
