You will review products, use appropriate tools, and ensure repairs meet standards, while supporting continuous improvement and a safe work environment with colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
• Repair fabrication experience preferred, especially with plastics and resins.
• Strong focus on quality and safety.
• Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, lift, reach in all directions.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Fabrication & Repair Specialist. If you are a dedicated individual interested in joining a growing company in the automotive parts industry, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Review each product to determine the required repairs.
• Ensure you have the proper tools and materials required to repair the product to an insurance quality standard.
• For each repair, you may be required to cut, trim, file, bend, or smooth parts to ensure proper standards are met.
• Ensure quality control standards are met.
• Adhering to assembly safety standards.
• Work with team members to identify and develop improved methods of repair.
• Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free warehouse environment with focus on injury prevention.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
• Repair fabrication work experience is a plus particularly with plastic and resin.
• Strong focus on quality - deeply care about the product and your work.
• High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and interest and ability to perform work in a safe environment.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
• Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
