Dover Food Retail is seeking a skilled programmer to join our manufacturing team in Virginia. You will program parts and create nests using JetCAM and NC Express, manage the DMM ordering system, and validate library parts while supporting production.

We value CAD/CAM experience, blueprint reading, and strong Windows/MS Office capabilities; you will contribute to waste reduction, troubleshoot issues, and relay IT needs to support operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/ GED a must.
• Associate degree in computer science and/or programming preferred.
• 5+ years CAD programming/Nesting software experience preferred.
• Extensive PC knowledge and Windows proficiency.

• Provide weekend programming support on a rotation basis
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to communicate status of assigned projects to supervisors.

Duties & Essential Work Functions

Work Experience And/or Education Requirements

• HS Diploma/ GED a must.
• Associate degree in computer science and/or programming is preferred.
• Extensive PC knowledge and experience
• Excellent working knowledge of the Windows Platform. MS Office power user
• Ability to read blueprints
• Programmer must have knowledge of metal punching, shearing, laser and brake work. Knowledge and experience should have been gained through actual operation of forming equipment and programming.
• 5 or more years’ experience with CAD programming/nesting software preferred

Essential Physical/Environmental Requirements

• May be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting or kneeling.
• Must be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs)
• Work is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
