Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a hands-on assembler for its TAMCO division. You will support the paint line, hang/unhang parts, and assemble to specification while assisting machine operators and preparing shipments.

The role requires independent work, adherence to safety, and accuracy in documentation. Ideal candidates have 1 year of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong mechanical aptitude with good math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Detail orientation with tolerance accuracy.
• Experience with computerized manufacturing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Overhead crane operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and model core values.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly; report issues promptly.
• Match materials, sizes, and parts to work orders.
• Self-inspect and escalate unusual conditions.
• Hang and unhang moving parts on the paint line; build sub-assemblies.
• Assist with loading/unloading for machine operators; pack and crate according to shipping guidance.
