Job summary

Ovivo in Round Rock, TX is seeking a skilled Fabrication Operator to join the shop team. You will fabricate, weld, read blueprints, and assemble components to meet precise specifications in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of fabrication or manufacturing experience, proficiency with MIG/TIG/Stick welding, and the ability to read drawings, operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of fabrication or manufacturing experience.
• Experience welding MIG, TIG and/or Stick.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication operations per drawings and production schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Fit and assemble fabricated components to specs and tolerances.
• Operate saws and cutting equipment to prepare materials for fabrication.
• Weld MIG, TIG, and/or Stick as required.
• Assemble fabricated products and subassemblies to meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality.
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Maintain a clean 5S work area and safety practices.
• Assist with inventory and material handling activities.
