Job summary

Bode North America, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator in Spartanburg, SC to operate production equipment and support quality control in a fast paced fabrication environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and performing preventive maintenance while following standard operating procedures. A High School diploma or GED is required and safety gear must be worn at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blue prints.
• Tape measure and calipers required.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability, e.g.: cutting rubber/aluminum, drilling and tapping.
• Fundamental knowledge of adhesive and fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools, hand tools, machinery and computers.
• Perform equipment changeovers.
• Responsible for quality control.
• Complete daily production paperwork.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Perform equipment and tooling preventative maintenance as required.
• Operate forklift.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Other duties as assigned.
