Job summary

nVent is seeking a Fabrication Operator Lead for the 3rd shift at our Anoka, MN facility. You will lead a small team on the shop floor, ensure safe, efficient production, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating material flow, training operators, covering line positions as needed, and driving continuous improvement through coaching and problem solving. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Metal fabrication experience including grinding and welding.
  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Experience conducting training in alignment to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate job expectations to operators and achieve results by coaching and enforcing policies.
  • Motivate a team to meet safety, quality and delivery metrics.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving, including continuous improvement efforts.
