Job description

Starting Pay

Starting pay is $21.36/hr with an increase to $23.73/hr after successful training plus $0.35 shift differential. Paid weekly plus annual bonus.

Available Shift

Night Shift 6:40pm to 5:10am

Responsibilities
  • Set up of Production Equipment including blades.
  • Data entry in the computer to move product through the system.
  • Ensure a high-quality product is coming off the machine by conducting quality checks to ensure required slit positions, depth, dimensions, labeling, and packaging.
  • Train and direct temporary employees when needed.
  • Work to continuously improve set up time, speed, and waste.
  • Follow all safety rules and policies, make suggestions to improve safety and look out for fellow employees' safety.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Some industrial experience.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Available to work either day or night shift.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating corrugated printing equipment.
  • Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment, with an understanding that temperatures and volumes.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting salary for position: $21.36 per hour with an increase after successful training.
  • Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
  • Paid Holidays.
