Parallel Employment is seeking a Floor Tech in Sturtevant, WI, for a fabrication-focused role in a fast-paced job shop. The candidate will read blueprints, lay out materials, operate punch presses, and perform manual machining, milling, and TIG welding as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Fabrication and machining experience in a fast-paced job shop environment.
• Experience with manual machining and milling equipment.
• TIG welding experience preferred (certification not required).
• Ability to interpret engineering prints and assemble components to spec.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Lay out parts and materials according to engineering prints.
• Operate punch press equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual machining operations, including milling.
• Cut, shape, and prepare metal materials for fabrication.
• Perform TIG welding (certification not required; experience preferred).
• Assemble fabricated components and finished products.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and basic repairs.
• Maintain inventory awareness and assist with organization.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards.
