Qualifications

• Operate fabricating machines to cut, shape, and bend metal pieces.
• Read and interpret job specifications to determine machine settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punches to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structural materials.
• Read and interpret job specifications to determine machine settings, adjustments, and material requirements.
• Position machine stops and guides to the required measurements using scales, rulers, or templates.
• Verify dimensions and machine setups to ensure products meet specifications.
