Job summary

Bassett Mechanical, a 3rd generation family-owned company, seeks an experienced detailing engineer to convert designs into fabrication-ready 3D models and drawings for pressure vessels, structural steel, modular systems, and piping.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, VDC, and Shop leadership to ensure designs are constructible, on schedule, and aligned with shop capabilities; proficiency with Inventor, Revit, Tekla, BIM/spooling software, and CNC programming platforms is

Qualifications

Five (5) or more years of experience in fabrication detailing for pressure vessels, structural steel, modular systems, and/or piping.
Associate degree or equivalent in a related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

Detail pressure vessels using Inventor and other software to create fabrication-ready models.
Design and model industrial structures, supports, skids, and piping or duct supports.
Detail modular MEP system assemblies for shop fabrication and field installation.
Detail skid packages and piping systems; generate spool sheets, isometric drawings, and CNC cut files.
Program CNC pipe profiling and steel cutting; develop cut lists and fabrication files.
Convert drawings and field sketches into constructible 3D models and drawings.
