Job summary

Venturi Supply in Haltom City, TX is seeking a Fabrication Associate to create finished products from drawings and material lists provided by the Manufacturing Project Manager. You will read blueprints, lay out parts, and operate fabrication equipment to produce quality parts.

This role requires a GED or high school diploma, at least one year of fabrication experience, strong math and geometry skills, and the ability to work well in a team while handling multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Technical knowledge of machinery, tools, gauging and fabrication.
• At least 1 year of fabrication experience.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Basic math and geometry knowledge.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and sketches and follow instructions.
• Read tape measure and gauges; select materials by spec.
• Perform calculations and convert measures.
• Layout, measure, and mark dimensions on materials.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines and use air/hand tools.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
