Strong communication and ability to obtain training certifications are essential. Experience in aerospace airframe inspection, NCR writing, and familiarity with MS Office and SAP are preferred. 1st/2nd/3rd shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• MS Office and SAP experience.
• Experience writing NCRs (Tags).
• Prompt and on time daily.
• Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain them.

Responsibilities

• Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments, and inspection machines and tools to accomplish work assignments.
• Maintain certifications as required and follow shop inspection procedures.
• Verify that tools are qualified and prepare/maintain quality records.
• Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required.

Job Description

Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments

Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures

Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications

Overall working knowledge of production processes

Good communication skills written and verbal

Good computing skills

Maintain certifications as required

Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies

Verify that tools are qualified

Prepare and maintain Quality records

Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required

Qualifications Required

Must be available to work any shift- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift operations

Available for periods of heavy overtime
