Job summary

BCI Brands is seeking an experienced Fabric Sourcing professional in New York to support private label brands. You will source seasonal fabrics, translate concepts into materials, and manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery.

You must have 5+ years in textiles/fabric management, PLM proficiency (Centric a plus), and strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in textiles or fabric management.
• Proficient in PLM; Centric a plus.
• Associates or higher degree required.
• Strong knowledge of fabric construction, finishing, washing (knits/wovens).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Source new seasonal and core fabrics for private label brands meeting designs and strategy.
• Translate design concepts into commercialized materials at appropriate price.
• Coordinate with design, production, mills and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Create and maintain fabric sample orders using PLM.
• Track lab dips and strike offs; report status to design team to meet deadlines.
• Manage calendar milestones to meet deadlines.
• Own seasonal proto and sample yardage requests; allocate yardage to factories.
• Attend local fabric shows; develop supplier relationships.
• Build new supplier relationships with mills outside of China.
