Job summary

GES - Global Experience Specialists in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Fabric Finishing Technician to complete fabric orders, troubleshoot and maintain industrial sewing machines, and apply SEG, Velcro, and stitching on printed textiles to exact sizes.

The role requires basic sewing skills, ability to read job tickets, measure with a tape, and perform routine machine maintenance. In-person work, 8–10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Automated sewing/finishing of textiles to exact sizes.
  • Read and understand work tickets and fabrication instructions.
  • Operate and maintain sewing machines and related finishing tools.
  • Assist in quality checks at key steps of production.
  • Packaging and labeling finished products for shipment.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging and staging completed fabric orders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain sewing machines.
  • Must have basic skills with industrial sewing techniques and equipment. Finishing involves measuring, cutting, applying SEG, velcro and stitching using an automated sewing machine.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain sewing machines
  • Fit and QC all SEG fabrics into framing systems.
  • Read and calculate department job ticket information and follow instructions.
  • Maintain inventory supplies as needed.
  • Prepare final product for shipping and delivery to multiple locations; create custom packaging when necessary.
  • Maintain and safely use all fabric production finishing tools and equipment.
  • Provide quality control at designated steps in the process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned under the direction of Graphics Manager or Director.
