Job summary

Hunter Douglas, the world’s leading window coverings company, is seeking a Bagger/Fabric Packer for our Carole Fabrics unit in Augusta, GA. You will place cut fabric into bags, label rolls with work tickets, and help ensure accuracy, quality, and efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and repetitive hand motions. We offer base pay of $13 per hour, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of fabrics.
• Able to pass color blind test.
• Accuracy in names, numbers and spelling.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting on a continuous basis.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work tickets to ensure accuracy.
• Place fabric rolls in plastic bags and securely seal them.
• Meet quality and production standards consistently.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• The role operates within a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to seven hours or more per shift.
• Ability to complete various tasks that may involve lifting or carrying in all directions.
• Occasional pushing/pulling of carts and buggies.
• Occasionally moving between tasks or workstations.
• Frequent operation of bag clipping equipment.
• Repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.
• All other duties as assigned

Position Overview

The Bagger/Fabric Packer is responsible for placing all cut fabric orders into plastic bags, ensuring each roll is labeled with the correct work ticket. This role supports production by maintaining accuracy, quality, and efficiency in a warehouse setting.
