Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking a Data/BI Engineer to build an enterprise data platform using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services. The role is remote with LATAM focus (Mexico, Argentina, Brazil) and requires hands-on Fabric experience.

You will design scalable data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and analytics solutions with Python/PySpark and Power BI integration, leveraging Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks in a governed environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years delivering Microsoft enterprise analytics/data engineering.
• Strong hands-on Fabric experience and Azure data services.
• Effective stakeholder communication with Agile/Waterfall delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
• Develop reusable Lakehouse and semantic models and star schemas.
• Work with Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS, Databricks and Power BI integration.
• Engineer with Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, SQL, and KQL; optimize SQL/Spark/DAX.
• Manage platform governance, security, workloads, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams in an Agile/Waterfall delivery environment.
