Job summary

Fabric-Covered Buildings in Northeast Iowa is seeking committed Construction Laborers to support fabric-covered structures across the Midwest. The role involves travel during the week and returning home on weekends, with 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

days and up to 60 hours in busy periods. You'll perform concrete work, wood post and I-beam foundations, steel frame erection, and related tasks. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, health and retirement plans; pay starts at $22/hour with per diem

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required and ability to obtain one where needed.
DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate and drug test must be obtained before employment.
Basic math, writing and communication skills expected.
Ability to work at heights during a 10-hour day.
Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and climb for long periods.
Must be able to lift 15–100 pounds as needed.
Tools and equipment are provided; learn to operate site equipment.

Responsibilities

Will travel during the week and be home on weekends.
Perform concrete work, wood post and I-beam foundations, steel frame erection, and related tasks.
Typical day is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; hours may reach 60 in busy periods.
Crews meet at the shop near Clermont, IA and travel to job sites by company truck.
Travel lodging is paid with per diem; meals may be covered.
