Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Fab Support Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive reliability and performance across Fab Support systems, including pumps, abatement systems, chillers, and infrastructure.

You will analyze downtime and maintenance data, develop metrics and dashboards, coordinate improvement projects, and work with Tool Owners, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Facilities to implement cost-saving, safety- and quality-focused enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, or equivalent semiconductor experience.
• Experience in reliability and maintenance engineering of pumps, abatement systems, chillers, or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Introduce improvements that raise reliability and performance.
• Evaluate preventative maintenance effectiveness and optimize strategies using data.
• Analyze downtime, maintenance, and equipment performance data to identify recurring issues.
• Develop and maintain equipment performance metrics and dashboards.
