Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Wafer Fab Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate state-of-the‑art automated machinery that prints, chemically bakes, and carves laser components onto thin circular sheets of silicon (wafers). You will play a vital role in our high‑tech manufacturing process working inside a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Run and monitor automated semiconductor equipment used in the fabrication and processing of silicon wafers.
  • Cleanroom Compliance: Maintain strict cleanroom protocols (Class 10 / Class 100) and perform proper full‑body gowning (wearing a protective "bunny suit", including hood, mask, boots, and double gloves) throughout shift duration.
  • Wafer Handling & Quality Control: Handle fragile, high‑value wafer lots safely. Perform visual inspections using microscopes to detect scratches, dust, or defects.
  • Data Tracking & Recipe Execution: Use Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to log factory data, perform lot tracking, and rigorously follow step‑by‑step technical procedures.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area, adhere to all safety guidelines, and report process anomalies immediately.
Qualifications & Key Skills
  • Experience: Background in semiconductor manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, pharmaceutical processing, or high‑volume logistics/fulfillment preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy required for tracking production lines via MES/factory logging tools. Experience using microscopes for visual quality inspection is a plus.
  • Cleanroom Experience: Familiarity with cleanroom standards, dust‑free environments, and gowning protocols.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfort working a 12‑hour compressed shift while standing and wearing full‑body personal protective equipment for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to follow strict, multi‑step technical recipes and checklists without skipping steps.
