Job summary

AOI is seeking a senior Fab Automation leader to manage a team of automation engineers supporting a semiconductor and transceiver assembly line. You will design, deploy, and sustain equipment automation, MES interfaces, and factory systems to improve quality, delivery, cost, and capacity.

Responsibilities include leading managers and engineers, collaborating with vendors and production teams, maintaining dashboards, and driving productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing automation with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with MES/ERP and equipment automation interfaces (SECS/GEM).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; programming in Python or C# is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Fab Automation section and manage engineers across locations.
• Design, deploy and sustain equipment automation, MES interfaces, and factory systems.
• Develop dashboards and report on automation health and project status.
• Drive projects to increase productivity, reduce lead time, and cut costs.
• Coordinate with groups to complete tasks on schedule and maintain safety standards.
