Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance of engineering systems, software applications, and network infrastructure.
• Travel to customer locations to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and support deployed systems.
• Assist in developing technical specifications, implementation plans, test procedures, and engineering documentation.
• Conduct system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance validation of hardware, software, and network components.
• Execute functional, integration, system, and acceptance testing to verify compliance with customer and technical requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues while documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist with engineering analyses, concept development, trade studies, and subsystem design activities.
• Support requirements analysis, system design reviews, critical design reviews, and implementation activities throughout the system lifecycle.
• Install, configure, and support network devices, including routers, switches, gateways, bridges, and related infrastructure.
• Assist with software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, test plans, procedures, reports, and user documentation.
• Support enterprise data management initiatives, including data quality, metadata management, and information architecture activities.
• Participate in information systems security testing, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of secure hardware and software solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, cybersecurity professionals, customers, and field personnel to ensure successful system implementation and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Implementation/Test Engineer to support the deployment, integration, testing, and sustainment of engineering and information technology solutions. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to implement, evaluate, troubleshoot, and validate hardware, software, network, and information systems while ensuring compliance with technical requirements and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to support system implementation through testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Travel Requirement: This position requires up to 75% travel to customer sites to support system installations, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and operational field activities.
