Job summary

Avelo Airlines is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to oversee maintenance quality across operations. You will ensure compliance with manuals, procedures, and regulatory requirements while guiding technicians and documenting results.

Ideal candidates hold an FAA A&P license, have 3+ years of airline maintenance experience, and demonstrate strong communication and safety culture. This role is full-time and based on site in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience on large airplanes with 10+ seats.
• Strong knowledge of RII and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with CFRs and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality oversight for all maintenance activities.
• Monitor work to ensure proper manuals and tools are used.
• Verify RII items are identified per procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation and records.
• Review SDRs and ensure timely reporting.
• Support Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives.
