Job summary

Rocket Air Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a General Aviation A&P Technician with Inspection Authorization (IA) for our Melbourne, FL shop. The role focuses on thorough inspections, maintenance tasks, and adherence to Part 91 regulations and company standards.

The ideal candidate holds FAA IA and A&P certificates, with extensive maintenance experience and strong attention to detail. You will work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• FAA IA and A&P certificates explicitly required.
• Strong knowledge of Part 91 regulations, aircraft systems, structures and avionics.
• Excellent attention to detail and meticulous inspections.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings and maintenance instructions.
• Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of aircraft and components per Part 91 and procedures.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs and modifications per approved data.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and accurate records.
• Coordinate with other technicians and vendors to complete tasks timely.
• Review and verify work orders and parts numbers before submission.
• Submit accurate inspection reports and recommendations.
