Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Installation Manager to lead dispersed field installation teams supporting FAA air traffic control systems nationwide. You will oversee field engineers, electricians, technicians, installers, and subcontractors across regions, ensuring safe, timely, and quality installation execution.

Required experience includes leading field crews, strong coordination, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) with ~8+ years’ related experience.
• Experience leading or coordinating field personnel such as engineers, electricians, technicians, installers, or subcontractors.
• Willing to travel up to 50% and meet customer security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage field teams performing hands-on installation, deployment, site preparation, integration support, and related field activities.
• Provide leadership and day-to-day coordination for field engineers, electricians, technicians, installers, subcontractors, and other staff.
• Manage blocks of field work across regions, ensuring proper planning, staffing, execution, documentation, and closeout.
• Assign staff based on project needs, schedules, qualifications, and availability.
• Ensure personnel are trained, prepared, equipped, and briefed before work.
• Monitor progress against schedules, technical requirements, safety, quality, and customer commitments.
• Review drawings and installation packages for clarity and readiness.
• Develop execution plans, staffing plans, site readiness plans, and installation approaches.
• Interface with FAA stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel for effective delivery.
• Prepare risk management plans to identify and mitigate safety, quality, schedule, and logistical risks.
• Promote technical excellence and field quality through QA processes and lessons learned.
• Coordinate with FAA and other authorities for site access and coordination.
