Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform inspections of aviation accessories in accordance with FAA requirements and company procedures. You will verify product integrity and ensure customer requirements are met before inspection completion.

The role demands meticulous attention to detail, proficiency with precision measuring tools, and the ability to read technical drawings and CMM data. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of relevant/technical work experience.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers & calipers).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CMMs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• English reading/writing required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aviation accessories for FAA regulations and company quality procedures.
• Inspect incoming and in-process accessories for specifications and quality.
• Use precision measuring instruments to detect defects and deviations.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Review technical documents/drawings and CMMs for accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
