Job summary

Aerotek in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic - Line Maintenance to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Saab, Embraer and other aircraft under FAA regulations, in a fast-paced airline environment.

The role requires reading maintenance manuals, IPCs and wiring diagrams, strong troubleshooting skills, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Experience maintaining Embraer E145/ E170/ E175 and ERJ series aircraft.
• Ability to read/interpret maintenance manuals, IPCs and wiring diagrams.
• Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to perform FAA-regulation compliant maintenance, repair, inspection and line maintenance.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willing to work night, weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
• Firm commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft systems and components.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hangar/line conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft per FAA regs and procedures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems for safety and reliability.
• Inspect using manuals, IPCs, wiring diagrams and engineering documents.
• Remove/install/test/adjust systems and components, including airframe/powerplant sections.
• Execute line maintenance, overnight checks, and return-to-service activities.
• Document actions and complete work orders in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control and other departments to support dispatch reliability.
• Uphold safety, quality, and security procedures in a clean, organized workspace.
• Use IPCs, wiring diagrams and engineering docs to guide repairs.
• Participate in heavy maintenance tasks on regional/corporate aircraft as needed.
