Description

Our client is seeking an experienced F5 Network Engineer to support their load balancer platform migration and manage their Load Balancing infrastructure. The main responsibilities include:

1. Build and operate all F5 load balancer requests, including new VIP requests, certificate requests, DNS requests, and modifications.
2. Perform F5 software upgrades.
3. Manage platforms such as BIGIQ, AppViewX, and Venafi.
4. Plan migration activities from old to new load balancer platforms.
5. Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and IT requests.
6. Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
7. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Top Skills:

• Expertise in F5 platforms (including VELOS) and load balancer solutions for internal and external applications.
• Deep understanding of data center networking and load balancer migrations.
• Experience deploying management load balancer solutions like AppViewX, BIGIQ, and Venafi.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with root cause analysis, risk mitigation, security assessments, and analyzing security threats.
• Knowledge of F5 advanced features such as Web Accelerator, Application Security Module, and Application Policy Module.
• Understanding of IT Service Management processes; ITIL certification is a plus.

Pay and Benefits:
