Overview

Datacenter Networking Enterprise Architect F5 who serves as the primary resource for F5 configuration, security, management, and troubleshooting within the Client. Must have thorough knowledge of F5 modules and their duties.

Responsibilities

Configure F5 resources and maintain ticket queue within Remedy ticketing system to meet Service Level Agreements. Participate in troubleshooting and design meetings for applications in the State of Michigan. Provide phone support as needed and comply with email communications promptly. Work onsite at least two days a week.

Skills / Experience

• F5 LTM: creation of VIPs and troubleshooting.
• Certificate installation and renewal, iRule creation and modification.
• F5 GTM: Wide IP creation.
• F5 ASM: policy creation, fine‑tuning and troubleshooting.
• F5 APM: creation of SAML policies and issue troubleshooting.
• Device‑level: iHealth/qkview knowledge, device upgrade, unused object cleanup, BIGIQ backup.
• Open support ticket with F5 (last resort).
• Cloudflare knowledge required.
• Team collaboration, customer service, information systems operation, training delivery, written and oral instruction following, effective communication, priority determination, complex IT technician assignments, stress tolerance, Microsoft Office proficiency, enterprise networking experience.
