Job summary

CATS 45 INC is seeking energetic coaches to join our team in New York. You will lead group workouts, conduct goal-oriented consultations, and help grow membership while maintaining impeccable form.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of personal trainer experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced studio. Weekend availability and public speaking skills are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Group training experience or potential to excel in a group setting.
• At least 1 year of experience as a personal fitness trainer.
• Willingness to work some weekends and flexible scheduling.
• Strong character, care, and communication skills.
• Energetic, attentive, and coachable.
• Clear and confident public speaking ability.
• Experience using social media for engagement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate studio members through workouts.
• Conduct in-person consultations with trial members.
• Correct exercise form to prevent injuries.
• Promote and sell F45 services in studio.
• Assist in membership growth and retention.
• Intro and demo every exercise with proper form.
• Provide regressions and progressions for exercises.
• Set up, break down, clean, and store equipment.

THE POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coaching and motivating members of the studio, while leading them through our workouts
• Conduct in-person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial members
• Have the knowledge and ability to correct exercise form to prevent injuries
• Promote and sell only F45 services in studio.
• Assist in membership growth and retention
• Intro and Demo every exercise in the workouts with exceptional form
• Give regressions and progressions for all exercises
• Set up, break down, clean, and store equipment before and/ or after classes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Group training experience (or show us you can be great at it)
• 1-year minimum experience as a personal fitness trainer
• Must be available to work some weekends
• Character, care, and communication skills
• Energetic and attentive
• Must understand functional movement, HIIT, and heart-rate focused training programs and the science that supports the F45 workouts
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be clear and comfortable with public speaking
• Demonstrate knowledge and usage of social media.

CERTIFICATIONS

• Nationally accredited current fitness certification - certifications: NSA, ACE, ACSM, PTA Global, NASM, AFAA
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Must be group training certified
