What You Will Do
  • Provide support to the Cases, Variable Vanes & Kinematics, Rotors, and Validation Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), composed of Project, Design, Structures, Aero, and Systems Engineering disciplines
  • Partner with IPTs responsible for sustaining fielded engines through product deficiency investigations, root‑cause analysis, and the implementation of product improvements
  • Address manufacturing and overhaul challenges to enable on-time spare part deliveries and ensure long‑term fleet sustainment
  • Serve as the primary Oklahoma City focal for data collection, hardware coordination, and related technical needs in support of F135 HPC Base IPT activities
  • Assist the Project Engineering team with task management, scheduling, and proposal development to maintain program alignment and execution
  • Represent the IPT in customer engagements and in forums with the SIPT, IPMT, and Senior Leadership, providing clear, accurate, and timely technical and programmatic updates.
  • Support the F135 HPC Base program with the transition to Agile
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years' experience OR
  • Advanced degree with 3+ years’ experience
  • Prior experience with Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)

Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.

Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
