Job summary

Nooksack Northwood Casino seeks a Slot Department Supervisor to directly oversee Slot Attendants and uphold exceptional guest service standards within the Lynden, WA property.

You will supervise daily floor operations, verify jackpots, ensure regulatory compliance, train staff, and work with the Slot Manager to meet department goals while maintaining a safe, engaging gaming environment for guests and employees.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in the slot department.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Class III gaming licenses from the Nooksack Gaming Commission and the Washington State Gambling Commission.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Liquor Control Board Class 12 Mixologist Permit and TIPS certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises the Slot Attendants in the Slot Department.
  • Ensures a high level of guest satisfaction and maintains an environment conducive to that goal.
  • Verifies all jackpots and short pays in accordance with current Nooksack Casino gaming regulations.
  • Ensures that gaming procedures and regulations are properly followed.
  • Ensures compliance with tribal, state, federal, and NIGC regulations and laws.
  • Supervises floor operations during assigned shift.
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Trains, develops, and monitors subordinate personnel to ensure departmental effectiveness.
  • Ensures the control and protection of company assets.
  • Works closely with the Slot Manager to address the needs of the department.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by the Slot Manager.

PURPOSE OF POSITIONDirectly supervises the Slot Attendants in the Slot Department. Ensures and promotes exceptional guest services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities and ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and internal controls.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports Directly to:Slots ManagerSupervises Directly:Slot AttendantsOther Important Contacts:All Department Managers and Directors, General Manager, vendors and other casino personnelDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESEnsures a high level of guest satisfaction and maintains an environment conducive to that goal.Verifies all jackpots and short pays in accordance with current Nooksack Casino gaming regulations.Ensures that gaming procedures and regulations are properly followed. Ensures compliance with tribal, state, federal, and NIGC regulations and laws.Supervises floor operations during assigned shift.
